Peg Hillman

PEG HILLMAN

Master Coach & Curriculum Expert

Peg, our much-hailed curriculum guru and Master Teacher, takes a practical approach to math reform.  A staunch supporter of a united effort via common standards, Peg also raises a clear voice for implementation that makes sense for teachers in classrooms.  How can elementary teachers organize and make sense of all the separate standards, assessments and commercial programs that are part of teaching requirements?  By teaching to the mathematical ideas represented across these formats, rather than to the format itself.  Closing the gap between teachers, ideas and standards is what Peg does best!
