Our Conviction

Although we continue to grow under the light of current research on best practices in mathematics instruction, we remain collectively committed to 3 principle beliefs:

  1. The depth of teacher content knowledge is indeed a principle driver behind the degree of student success in mathematics, and teachers want to know.

  2. Deep, intuitive understanding of mathematical ideas is available to any learner/teacher who has the opportunity to experience them.  That experience bridges the symbols to the very ideas they are meant to represent.

  3. Where professional development is concerned, high quality and sustainability are not mutually exclusive.
