teachers across the country. Its primary objectives are to...
- create and maintain a strong Professional Learning Community where teachers of math can share ideas and dialogue with each other on a national and international level
- raise awareness of current issues and trends in mathematics education and offer support specific to those issues
- provide a forum where teachers can contribute expertise and receive support from an experienced math coach

- engage in dialogue and share your own expertise and experience with other teachers
Q: Why should I contribute?
A: There are many grains of sand in a rock; the number of participants in any Professional Learning Community directly affects its strength. There isn’t one of us who doesn’t have something to contribute. Send us your thoughts, suggestions, tips, and opinions and encourage your colleagues to do the same. The force of solidarity is equal to more than the sum of its individual parts. So, once again... welcome! We will all benefit because YOU have joined us.
All teachers who send submissions will have their names entered in a draw. The winner will receive a full-colour book packed with practical, make-sense ideas for teaching math at his/her specific grade level.
Q: How do I send a submission?
A: All submissions will be reviewed by our editorial group for consideration. We will make an effort to include as many submissions as we can, but it is important to keep in mind that the Chronicle editors are contributing their time on a voluntary basis.
